.357 Mag. caliber, 4" barrel, S/N 262952. Reblued finish with two-piece checkered Smith & Wesson grips. Frame marked under grips "TX0000948". A September, 1985 letter from Jay Banks states that this revolver was used in his capacity as a Texas Ranger throughout the 1950s until the end of his career as Police Chief of several Texas towns. **Good condition as-is. Some minor wear to reblued finish with grips in good condition. Good bore.** $4,000-$6,000
