SN: 56968. Hand ejector, 2nd change'.(1906-1909) Features a nickel finish, pinned 4" barrel, blade front sight, integral notch rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth case trigger, case hardened hammer with knurled spur, built on a round butt I frame, Hard rubber checkered grips with S&^W monograms. S&W trade mark on the left side plate. Bore and charge holes are excellent. Retains about 92% nickel finish, with minor scratches, a small gash on the right barrel, and some flaking to one of the cylinder flutes.. Markings are crisp. Grips are very good. Action is smooth with good lock-up. Serial number repeated on cylinder, under barrel. and heel. Assembly number in frame recess matches yoke. Case colors on hammer & trigger are very good.
