Smith & Wesson U.S. Army Model 1917 DA revolver, .45 ACP caliber, Serial #86077. The pistol is in nearly excellent overall condition as re-finished. The pistol has a 5 ½” barrel marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” on the underside. The pistol retains nearly all of an old, quality re-blue with muted case colors on the hammer and trigger. The smooth grips are in very good condition with the lanyard ring retained. The butt ismarked, U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 No. 86077”. The bore is good and the action is crisp. Est.: $500-$1,000. (C+R/PPT).
