Smith and Wesson 1st Model Hand Ejector revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, Serial #13157. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 6 ½” barrel. The pistol retains a significant amount of its bluefinish with light pin prick pitting at the muzzle, on the frame and along the barrel. The pistol features muted case coloring on the hammer and trigger. The smooth, medallion ivory grips are in very goodcondition with some age cracks and an attractive golden color. The bore is good, the action functions and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter confirming all features otherthan the ivory grips, which were added later, indicating that the pistol was shipped to Toney Parker, no address listed, November 3, 1916.
