Smith and Wesson Pre-Model 27 “Unregistered” revolver, .357 Magnum caliber, Serial #60238. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 5” barrel with filed rib, top strap and a King ramp front sight. The pistolretains approximately 95% of its blue finish with light holster wear at the muzzle and a faint drag line. The pistol features muted case hardening on the hammer and trigger. The checkered wood medallion Magna grips arein very good condition showing small mars and compressions consistent with use. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter which confirms thefeatures and indicates the pistol was shipped to the Police Department, Tucson, Arizona on December 14, 1939. Introduced as a custom manufactured revolver, the .357 Magnums were manufactured to the customer’s specifications and stamped in the yoke cut with a registration number. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
