Smith and Wesson Third Model Hand Ejector revolver, .44 S&W Special caliber, Serial #59176. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 4” barrel. The pistol retains approximately 98% of its originalnickel finish with light wear at the muzzle and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The pistol features muted case hardening on the hammer and trigger. The checkered wood medallion Magna grips are in very goodcondition showing small mars and handling wear. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes a Smith and Wesson factory letter confirming all features and indicating thatthe pistol was shipped to Wolf & Klar, Fort Worth, Texas on January 26, 1940.
