Join Yahk Mountain Outfitters next September for a 7-day 1:1 elk hunt in southern BC. Their area is located right on the border with Montana, so you can fly into Kalispell, cross the border, and drive up to Jaffray to meet the crew.
To find your elk, your guide will take you out into the bush early in the morning by foot or truck. Open clearcuts and grassy meadows will be explored in search of that perfect 6-point elk. A hunting partner is welcome to come for market value, and non-hunting guests can participate for $200 per day. Field preparation of your trophy is included, as well as transportation to a local town for processing.
The main camp is located on the edge of Fish Lake. There are 4 sleeping cabins and bathrooms equipped with toilets, sinks, and showers. All meals are provided by Yahk Mountain Outfitters’ staff. Licences, tags and Hunting Preservation Fund ($200 CDN) are not included.
Yahk Mountain Outfitters also hunts for shiras moose, mule and whitetail deer, black bear, cougar, lynx, bobcat, wolf and turkey. You and guide outfitter Vince Mostyn can discuss options for upgrading your elk hunt to include other species.
