Spear point Bowie knife marked, “Wilson Swift, Broad Street, Sheffield”, with the “DCL” trademark on the reverse. Fancy German silver mounts showing a Mexican snake and eagle on the pommel with dark colored cowhorn grip in good to very good overall condition. The blade is full dimensions with most original polish, some pitting and erosion near the tip and other areas of minor aging. The knife includes the associatedscabbard of the same period in very good condition. The piece measures 13 7/8” overall length. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
