++Special grade Belgian-made Browning SxS hammerless shotgun, 16 gauge, 27.5” barrels, S/N CENT-008, Anson type action made in collaboration with Lebeau-Courally to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of FN. Finely engraved in game scenes and signed “C. Baerten”, deluxe checkered walnut stocks with checkered butt. This beautiful shotgun remains in fine to near new condition showing no evidence of firing or use, 99% to new with all its original blue on the barrels and satin finish on the receiver. There is case hardening on the small parts and interior. The wood is excellent to near mint and shows a soft satin finish with beautiful graining. The gun is fitted with automatic ejectors and double triggers with a length of pull of approximately 15” from the front trigger to the end of the wood butt. Included is a Browning luggage case and original cardboard box. Accompanied by a letter on Browning stationary from Chip Hewlett, Customer Service Representative, dated July 30, 1996, indicating this 16 gauge was a Limited Series of an FN Anson with side plates and special 2.75” chambers and the maximum quantity produced throughout the world
