Special ordered deluxe Colt Paterson Model 1839 carbine with select birds eye maple stock, S/N 737. Formerly Harold’s Club Collection Lot# 2282 in .52 caliber with a 24” half round/half octagon barrel with rare rifled bore. The rifle remains in very good plus condition showing 50%-60% original bright blue on the frame and recoil shield with considerable original tobacco brown finish and Colt finish on the barrel and cylinder. Good markings with minor light pitting and erosion. The cylinder retains most of its original scene but just slightly light and visible under magnification with strong Colt patent markings and Ornsby signature. The loading lever shows a perfect restoration. The stock is checkered and in near fine condition with beautiful grained birds eye and burl maple checkered stock with German silver butt plate. The stock also has been repaired at the wrist which is almost undetectable and an excellent restoration. The sights are also replacements. Included with this rifle is a fine and authentic capper, excellent mold with 80%-90% bright original blue, and authentic horn Paterson flask.. An exceptional 1839 Paterson carbine with very pretty and deluxe stock along with optional and rare rifling. We value the accessories at $10,000 plus. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
