If you're an outdoorsman who loves natural beauty, wide-open spaces and mountainous terrain, the Lillooet Region is where you want to be. The pristine alpine lakes surrounded by snow-capped mountains offer spectacular views of unspoiled wilderness. This 6-day 1:1 black bear hunt is great for anyone looking for something a little different – the coastal mountain black bears have a different shape than their northern counterparts. This area has an abundance of trophy-sized black bears with about 50% color phases from chocolate, cinnamon to blonde. In the spring Jamie and his guides hunt valley bottoms where the bears can be found grazing on fresh growth. You will hunt from riverboat for earlier hunts and moves to ATVs and trucks for the later hunts. This hunt is mainly spot- and-stalk.
