Bear hunting with K-9's Cougar Canyon Outfitters offers a chance for you to harvest a mountain black bear, on a 5-day, fully guided hunt. It also offers you a chance at the beautiful color phased black bear that the Okanagan is well known for. This is not your typical black bear hunt. These hunts will be sure to get you involved! Guide Outfitter Denver Kitzan, has been passionate about hunting and strives to make his clients hunt successful and adventurous in many ways. If you like the sound of hounds, you will love this hunt! This is their dogs doing what they love best! They use their dogs to strike, chase and finally tree or bay these bear up. They utilize quads, UTV's and pickups for this hunt.
Accommodations for this trip will be a wall tent, with cots, and camp stove. Warm showers can be taken daily. Non-hunters can join for $200 USD per day and you can upgrade your hunt to include a second bear for $880 USD. Meat and trophy can be brought to a local taxidermist and butcher at the request of the hunter. Licences, tags, royalties, CITES, and HPF are not included.

Successful bidders will be charged the total amount of their successful bid, plus the 5% online buyers premium upon the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made. Contact the office at 1-877-818-2688 for further information.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder.
Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter.
Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
