Made at Springfield Arsenal in 1917. 24" blued round military barrel in 30-06 caliber marked "SA/Flaming Bomb/5-16" stamping. Correct banded blade front sight and rear flip sight graduated to 2800 yards. Blued action with Springfield marked receiver. Correct marked straight handle bolt with later Parkerized finish. Walnut finger groove "S" stock with illegible cartouche and "P" in circle proof. Blued milled floorplate with blued hardware. Matching walnut humped top wood. Comes with nickel plated oil bottle in trap butt. CALIBER: 30-06. S/N: 636532. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
80% original arsenal finish with bolt Parkerized for World War II. Blue worn at carry areas to a silvery patina with some added finish. Stock has dark oil-soaked finish appearance with illegible cartouche and surface lightly cleaned. Bore is good with TE of 6 and ME of 3 with good mechanics. No visible import marks.
