Made at Springfield Armory in 1909. 24" blued military round barrel in 30-06 caliber with standard sights and marked with "SA/Flaming Bomb/9-09/A" stamping. "A" indicates a second class barrel. Blued receiver with standard trigger and straight handle unmarked blued bolt. Walnut "J.F.C." finger groove stock with "A.A.R" World War II rebuild stamp. Matching walnut humped top wood. Stock fitted with milled trigger guard and correct steel blued hardware with World War II vintage oil and grease cartridge in trap. CALIBER: 30-06. S/N: 369423. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
60% overall original military finish with some added finish. Dark oil-soaked stock with visible cartouches and rough usage marks. Frosted bore with visible rifling with TE of 1and ME of 2. Good bore and no import marks.
