The carbine is in good overall condition with a 22” barrel. The carbine was created by cutting down a Springfield Trapdoor rifle. The barrel and action have gone primarily to patina with the side still reading “U.S. Springfield”. The smooth wood stock has seen considerable use and has numerous dents and compressions. The right side of the butt stock is marked, “56” and has numerous tack holes noted. The butt ends with a smooth metal butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions and markings are legible. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
