Used Stevens #56 Scheutzen Style 044 1/2 framed .22 Long Rifle caliber Single Shot Rifle. The 24" barrel is half octagon, half round and has a very good bore. The bluing is in excellent condition. It comes with a rear tang sight and a Rocky Mountain style front sight. There is a blank installed where the rear barrel sight would have been. The Walnut perch belly stock is in good condition with NO cracks. The chekering is sharp. there are some light scratches on both sides of the buttstock. See Photos. The case colors on the receiver are present but faded. Light browning from surface rust on the bottom of the lever. Some faded coulers on the Scheutzen buttplate.
Overall a very nice rifle.
