Stunning and World Class 19th century Scottish silver mounted powder horn. The horn is adorned with fine cut Topaz gem stone plug. A finest quality relief cast and chased silver mounts with thistles and vines. With a superb hand-made silver chain. The body of the flask is polished and specially selected cow horn. The flask measures 12” in overall length and the condition is excellent. The horn is a ten on a scale of1-10 and simply the best we have ever seen of this type offered for sale in the 50+ years of selling fine arms and accessories. Est.: $5,000-$10,000.
