Made in Belgium by Browning in 1933. Super rare and hard to find Pre-war Browning Midas Grade. 30" Special Steel 12 gauge barrels with 2-3/4" chambers, ejectors, and marked full and modified chokes. Barrels fitted with ventilated rib with Lyman Red Hi-Viz front sight and mid-bead sight and marked with "Browning SUPERPOSE" at breech with Gold line work on lugs, breeches, rib, and barrel stops. Barrels are spaced with no rib, a unique feature. Blued boxlock action with Pre-War "Art Deco" gold work with gold birds triangle on side panels and trigger guard bow. Bottom of action features line gold work. Action has Browning single selective triggers and non-automatic safety. Type T dimension Tiger Striped walnut long tang round knob pistol grip stock with period added white line recoil pad. Matching walnut checkered competition type attached latch release forearm horse shoe plate. Pad and forearm may have been special order. This was the top-of-the-line in 1933 from Browning. LOP: 14". CONDITION
Overall 90% original blue with operation marks and light usage marks. Action has 95% blue with light handling wear on edges with perfect gold. Screws have been turned. Wood has been lightly cleaned with added recoil pad and checkering flattened in handling areas. Good bores and mechanics. It's a super hard gun to find for the serious Browning collector.
