RETAILED BY GEORG LINK OF DARMSTADT. Cal. 16 Ga./9.3x72R. S# 35779. The 26-7/8" barrel set is fitted with full length rib holding pop up rear and bead front sights. Retailer's name and address is on milled out portion of rib. Maker's name and address are on tops of barrels. Barrel flats are stamped with September 1933 German proofs for 16 Ga. 2-1/2" and 9.3x72R rifle cartridge. French gray round bodied top lever action features peninsula back spring rebounding locks with serpentine hammers, rifle selector on top tang, cross bolt third fastener, side clips and set front trigger. Action is engraved with near full coverage Germanic shaded acanthus scroll surrounding game scenes. Roebuck and doe are on left side of action and a roaring stag is on right. Left lock portrays a pair of scampering hares and a running doe is on right. Trigger guard is horn. Horn capped pistol grip buttstock of well figured European walnut measures 14" over ribbed horn buttplate. Stock features standard checkering, right hand cheekpiece and sling loop. The loop is the forward attachment for a cartridge trap on toeline that is engraved in a style matching action and has space for 4 cartridges.
