Don and Rosemary Anderson are valued members of CA Wild Sheep Foundation and own Anderson Taxidermy & Guide Services, Inc. This hunt is offered for dates mid-October through mid-November 2024. During this time the animals are in the rut and have a better quality cape. In offering this hunt at these dates they can present rams that normally do not live with the main herd and are present during the rut.
You will be picked up your lodgings and returned to the same at the end the day or the hunt. Lunch is provided in the field but you are responsible for your own meals before being picked up and at the end of the day in the field. When arranging lodgings, consider a room with a kitchenette, especially for breakfast. There are several fine dining establishments in the area that they may avail dinner.
Includes:
- Two (2) days of hunting.
- The taking of one (1) Aoudad Sheep
- Additional days at $300 per day.
- Lunch, water, and soft drinks
- Field care and trophy care of animals, transportation to meat processor fi required.
- All transportation from lodging to ranch and on the ranch.
- Hunters and non-hunters must pay for their own lodging at nearby motels.
- Varmint hunting if time permits: coyote and squirrels.

Excludes:
- Lodging (available at hotels nearby)
- California hunting license.
- Signing of all liability forms before entering the ranch.
- Lead-free bullets are required by California Fish &Game for this area.
- All personal items: clothing, light jacket, hiking boots, rain gear.
- Hunting Equipment: Field Glasses, Rifle 270 or larger. Make sure that your rifle is sighted in before the hunt.
- Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol before or during hunts is strictly prohibited.
- All trophy fees and non-hunter fees will be paid at the end of the hunt.
- One non-hunter can accompany each hunter at a daily rate of $150 per day.
- Ice chest or suitable items if hunters are transporting their own meat home.
If hunter or non-hunter is staying at a motel they will pay for their own lodging. A kitchenette is advised.
If an animal is shot, wounded or lost, this is your animal. Every effort will be made to find the animal. It will be up to the guide's discretion if the hunt will end or continue on to look for another animal.
Food for breakfast and dinner is the hunter's responsibility.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard item merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction. Any item not paid for or claimed after payment will be returned to CA WSF for disposition.

Online Auction Terms and Conditions of California Wild Sheep Foundation
California Wild Sheep Foundation (“CA WSF”), is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization and was formed to promote and enhance increasing populations of indigenous wild sheep to California, to safeguard against the decline or extinction of such species, and to fund programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum. The items, trips, and “Conservation Permits” being offered for sale were allocated to CA WSF by the California Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the Alaska Dept of Fish and Game and other third parties.

All sales are final. No returns will be accepted. Winning bidder authorizes California Wild Sheep Foundation (CA WSF) to charge their credit card for the full amount of the winning bid upon close of the auction. Payments will not be accepted from any third parties outside of a successful qualified bidder nor may the responsibility for any transaction be transferred to a third party.
Auction Shipping Information
Shipping arrangements and payments are the responsibility of the winning bidder. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No merchandise items will be shipped until CA WSF receives confirmation of full payment. Merchandise will be shipped within thirty (30) days after auction closes and payment confirmation is verified.
Auction Terms and Conditions Live Auction Rules
Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
Donors are not allowed to bid on their own donations nor have any agent bid on their behalf. If the Auctioneer recognizes such bidding or is advised of the same he may withdraw any or all items donated by the offender.
Some of the items on the donated hunts that are usually not included unless specified are:
A. Travel expenses to and from destination
B. Hotel and meals before and after the hunt and/or trip
C. Licenses, tags or permits.
D. Trophy dipping, packaging and shipping.
E. Alcoholic Beverages
F. Gratuities
Most hunts, unless otherwise noted, are for the upcoming season. All trips, unless otherwise noted, expire within one year of the auction. Special arrangements other than as set forth on the auction list are expressly between the donor and yourself.
Some non-hunt donations will require delivery at your expense. Any firearms that may be included in the auction are subject to all state and federal laws. Transactions for these items will be handled by an approved FFL provider. The FFL provider information will be sent to the winning bidder for completion of transfer.
Payment for auction items may be deductible as business expenses but are not deductible as charitable donations for Federal Income Tax purposes. Please consult your tax advisor and the IRS for more information.
Disclaimer of Liability
Goods:
All goods in the live auction, silent auction and special drawings have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by CA WSF and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, ammunition, or other items, to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of CA WSF which makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. CA WSF does not accept any responsibility or liability for any design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and adhere to any pertaining FFL regulations.
Services:
All services, hunts or otherwise, in the live auction, silent auction and special drawings have been acquired from and are supplied by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by CA WSF whom shall bear no responsibility for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damage arising from or related to or connected with the performance or nonperformance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, CA WSF cannot be responsible or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can CA WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. The high bidder further acknowledges that his purchase is final and nonrefundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for these services acquired by the high bidder at the auction, CA WSF shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, costs of court, and interest as provided by law.
CA WSF is not responsible for any delays or difficulties in bidding related to internet connectivity, server or any hardware or internet related issues.
