We want hunters and outfitters to have a positive experience.

Expectations of hunters:

1) Bring another hunter and extend the hunt if feasible

2) Hunt from the outfitter's price list after harvesting donated trophies if additional game are
available and tip generously

Donations may not be sold, transferred, or combined on one trip with another hunt unless outfitters and chapter agree prior to auction.
Jamil Jamal of Mkwawa Hunting Safaris is again offering a terrific donation to our chapter. This time a 10-day leopard hunt on the nearly 900,000-acre hunting concessions in the world renowned Selous Game Reserve, one of the world’s most diverse and undisturbed wilderness zones.

Jamil and his family have been operating hunting camps in the Selous for 50 years and Jamil has managed them for the last 20 years. The winning bidder will fly to Dar es Salaam, stay in a hotel for one night and then take a charter flight to hunting camp the next day. The camp is staffed by three professional hunters and a full camp staff. You’ve dreamed of hunting in Tanzania. This is your chance.

Taxidermy: Frank J Zitz is an SCI Life Member and serves on the Tri-State SCI Chapter for the last five years. He has owned Frank J. Zitz & Company in Rhinebeck, New York for 25 years. His team produces taxidermy art for museums and big game hunters, having created some of the most impressive trophy rooms you can imagine. Frank has generously included a custom, museum-quality, life-size leopard mount for the winner of this donation ($6,800 value).
