Join Nature Conservation Outfitters (or Nachoti Tabiat in Tajik) in the Pamir mountains of Tajikistan for a 10-day hunt for Mid-Asian Ibex (Capra sibirica alaiana). Tajikistan is widely known for its fantastic mountains, and the Pamirs are often called the roof of the world. Only by traveling through these breathtaking mountains can you experience their beauty. Fly to Dushanbe, the capitol of Tajikistan where you will be met by your outfitter. There will be an English-speaking guide with you the entire trip to translate and assist with logistics. You will either stay the first night in Dushanbe or travel further to Khorog, about a day’s travel away. From there it is on to Murghab and transfer to the hunting camp. The next five or six days are spent hunting for ibex in the beautiful surround mountains. After the hunt you will reverse the travel back to Dushanbe. As time permits you can do a city tour in Dushanbe with optional visits to the markets, museum, and landmarks. There are no special requirements for the hunter beyond good physical conditioning, although hunters should plan on hiking in mountainous terrain. The ibex quality in the hunting area is exceptional. Base camp is at 12,000 ft (about 3.66 km) where you will stay in a heated two-story house with electricity and internet. Each hunter will have his own guide and travel by vehicle or on foot depending on the terrain. The rugged mountains have little feed, so the ibex use the mountains as a daytime bedding ground and generally move to the valley floors and foothills to feed in relatively gentle terrain in the early mornings and evenings. Hunters can expect trophies in the 39 to 47inch range. The hunt is good for available dates between September 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026. Hunters will have the option to take a second Ibex for an additional $7500. This program offers an unforgettable hunting experience combined with breathtaking landscapes and cultural immersion Included: All transportation during the hunt, English speaking guide, all food and accommodations in the base camp and during the hunt, trophy fee for one ibex with the option to harvest a second for $7500. Not Included: Accommodations in Dushanbe and Khorog (approx. $200 and $100 respectively), pre-scouting if requested, weapons rental if you choose not to bring one, preparation of trophies for shipping, trophy expediting and gratuities. The services of legendary booking agent Jack Atcheson Jr. are included to help with planning and travel. Please contact Jack at (406) 782-2382 or jack.jr@atcheson.com.Hunt Value: $13,500
