Clay Pope of Pope Brothers Guide Service in Junction, Texas has donated a fantastic hunting opportunity. The lucky winner of this hunt will have the opportunity to travel to Texas with his buddy for Axis deer, 2 hours outside of San Antonio. Pope Brothers has acres and acres of prime hunting land in the Texas Hill Country. In addition to the donated animal there are multiple other exotics to hunt as well as native and genetic whitetail and feral hogs (per price list). They have a fully furnished Texas style game lodge with fishing available two blocks away. This will undoubtedly be a fantastic experience for the hunters who are the last ones with their hand in the air. Bring along non-hunting companions for $150 per person, per day. Included for both are all meals, beverages, guides, lodging and full use of the facilities. Fishing tackle & kayak are available for your use. Not included are animals taken above the donated species, airfare to Texas, transfers to and from the lodge ($200 round trip), taxidermy, hunting license ($45 for 5-day exotics), alcohol, de-boning of meat ($100) tips or gratuities. An in-house taxidermist is available with shipping options if you chose to use them. Call Lily Teague at 325-446-2000 to schedule your hunt as soon as possible as their schedule fills up.
