Dallen Lambson Whitetail Original
Dallen's artwork can be found all over the country. This donation is a framed original painting titled “The Great Rivalry”. Image size is 20” x 30” on an oil stretched canvas. These two old friends hang together most of the year, with the exception of a few weeks during the fall rut. Shortly one will cross the small stream and challenge the other. The winner will be greatly rewarded, for the doe are plentiful on the farm this year. In a few weeks all will be forgiven and both will pal up again. However the loser will not forget. He makes a promise to himself he will never lose again. There were two witnesses to the battle. The farmer and his young son drove the tractors in for an early morning archery hunt. They sit in their stand and watch as the big bucks battle just outside of safe archery range. Just as this piece has invoked the imagination of this writer, you can be sure this great piece will take anyone that views it to another place and time!
