The Rogan
Made to go with our Quiver system, the Rogan adds capacity to your range setup or can be used on its own as a small fishing rig or everyday bag. The front pocket has a key hook and two tool retractor exits so you can set up quick access items like hemostats for fishing (clip on fishing retractors work great) or arrow pulling tools for the 3d course (heavier duty retractors recommended). There are two zippers on this pocket so you can stow the tools when not needed. The main pocket has a zippered mesh pocket sewn on an open topped sleeve and two stretchy pockets sewn to the back. The stretchy pockets are sized to fit most small fly boxes or range finders. The front sleeve pocket and two stretchy pockets have dummy cord loops sewn over top. The back pocket is narrower in profile and holds most sub compact and compact pistols. There is a tab at the bottom to secure Zacchaeus holsters so you can keep your trigger covered and uncovered when you want it. On the bottom of the pocket you will find mounting points for bear spray holsters or a place to lace bungie cord to wrangle a rain layer. Each Rogan pocket can come with your choice of a quiver belt of your size, or with no belt and will also work with any 2” velcro loop faced belts. On the back there is a large passthrough backed with spacer mesh that will work with our Rogan Belt system (coming soon). This will add rigidity and 2 Molle strips with 4 channels on either side of the pack.
Wondering if your handgun will fit into the Rogan? Download this easy-to-use template to verify sizing.
Size:
Dimensions: 5″ / 12.7cm h x 10″ / 25.4cm l x 6″ / 15.3cm w
Volume: 150 cubic inches
Weight of Rogan and Belt: 15.9oz / .44kg
The Battle Belt
Combining with our Rogan Hip Pack, the Battle Belt system turns the Rogan in to a modular lumbar pack that can adapt to many uses. Molle panels (2rows, 4 columns) on both sides of the Rogan pocket allow you to add any Molle / Pals compatible pockets including our Mini belt pouches and Water bottle pockets. Using our standard Quiver belt, or any other 2” velcro loop backed belt, wings sandwich over top and lock the belt into place. The open bottom design allows you to hang things like our Field Quiver or drop leg attachments off the bottom of the belt to customize your rig. A removable plastic stiffener creates structure around your hips that will keep the weight of the rig from torquing away from your body and keeps the load stable. The plastic stiffener is also a tool for setting up the Rogan to keep the velcro from hanging up. Lined with the same spacer mesh as the Rogan pocket for grip and breathability.
