This Christensen Arms Ridgeline .300 Ultra Mag with Trijicon TenMile scope is presented by the family of TL Sund in memory of a man who loved God, his family, and to hunt. Tim “TL” Sund spent a lifetime passing down his love of the outdoors to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren sharing with them the passion of a big game hunt and teaching them the value of a harvest. Every year, TL spent the deer season in the deer hut next to his wife of over 50 years. As his health started to fade, modifications were made so that he could still sit next to the love of his life as she took a nice buck. After the hunt was over, the family would gather around the fire in the skinning shed to harvest the meat, eat, and reminisce about past hunts. You see, it wasn’t just about the hunt to TL, it was about time spent with family that he cherished most. Those memories will be ones that live on forever in the eyes of his family. TL was also a huge part of the previous Nebraska SCI Chapter and was excited to see another one established as he believed that it was important to have someone assist in having a voice for hunters and conservation. It is his family’s honor to present this gun and his favorite hat to the Platte River SCI Chapter.
