Triple Signed Belgian Browning Olympian .338 Win Mag Rifle by Kowalski, Acampo & Cargnel
Manufactured in 1970 in Belgium by FN for Browning. Standard markings and proofs on the barrel, frame and bolt. 24" blued steel barrel. Stock, bolt and receiver serial numbers match. Factory drilled for a scope mount. Gray finished receiver with engraved elk on the right side of the chamber and moose on the left, signed by master engraver Louis Acampo. The floor plate has a standing grizzly bear and signed by master engraver Richard Kowalski. Typical scroll work on the balance of the receiver and on the chamber area of the barrel. Trigger guard features an engraved mountain lion and signed "GC", by master engraver Gino Cargnel. Gold washed trigger. Factory high gloss finished walnut stock with two cross bolts. Fine cut checkering on the wrist and forearm. Both are outlined with floral carving. Factory sling studs. Typical capped pistol grip. Browning brown rubber butt pad. LOP: 13-1/4". CONDITION
Metal is very fine and retains about 95% + with a few handling marks and scratches. Does not appear to be a salt gun. Wood is excellent with a few light scratches. Bore is clean overall with very good rifling. Mechanically fine.
