Jim Peacher was raised in Chicago but is now a West Coast convert. He started painting when he was 12. He always wanted to study at the Chicago Art Institute but joined the Army at 19 to see the world instead. The Army shipped him out to California and he never went back. Over the years, Jim has created his own representational style, a mix of photo realistic still life with more impressionistic influences.
