GARAND SEMI-AUTO MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 5177656. Bbl. 24" replacement barrel is marked on right side "3 SA 1 45". Throat gauge 2.0. Muzzle gauge 3.0. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bolt operating rod, trigger housing & hammer all marked "SA". Milled trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Buttstock is marked on left side over trigger guard w/ boxed defense acceptance eagle. Circle "P" proof under grip. Stock has glass bedding in trigger group area. CONDITION: buttstock has moderate wear & handling marks throughout w/ repaired gouge on left side of forend plus notable sm. gouge at bottom of forend. Area of scuffed finish on right side of grip. Handguards have light wear & scattered handling marks. Metal retains 75% of its original parkerized finish w/ light wear & scattered handling marks. Very good shin bore.
