U.S. M1 semi-automatic carbine by National Postal Meter, .30 caliber, 18” unmarked barrel with bayonet lug, S/N 1475363; carbine was re-built by Underwood (ca. 1948-49), excellent bore, crisp action, good markings and overall very good stockshowing original “NPM/FJA” cartouche with the additional “.U.” for the rebuild; with sling, oiler and Type I magazine pouch on stock (empty).
