U.S. Model 1842 percussion musket in .69 caliber smoothbore with 42” barrel with lock of smaller size and dated 1848 on the rear portion. The bolster shows a reversed “K” which may be a company marking. The metalsurfaces show some scattered pitting with some slightly heavy pitting in the area of the breech and on the hammer with a small amount of cleaning. The Eagle and Springfield are fully visible and well defined. Thestock is good to very good also showing some cleaning and is slightly undersized against the metal. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
