U.S. Model 1942 bayonet. Intended for use with the M1 Garand and Model 1903 rifles, the bayonet is in very good condition with a 9 13/16” blade and an overall length of 14 1/2 inches. The blade is stamped, “UFH” over an ordnance logo with “U”& “S” on each side. The blade shows the majority of its military finish with so signs of sharpening. The ribbed composite grips are in very good condition showing small mars and wear. The O.D. green plastic scabbard incorporates ametal throat with belt hangars. The scabbard has a flaming bomb ordnance logo stamped on the metal portion. Est.: $75-$150.
