U.S. Property marked Lee-Enfield No.4 MK. I bolt action rifle, .303 British caliber, Serial #1805137. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 25” barrel with a protected blade front and military aperturerear sight and spike bayonet with scabbard. The rifle retains a significant amount of the military finish, marked, “U.S. PROPERTY” on the left rail. The wrist strap is dated 1942 and marked, “S” for Savage. The smoothwood stock is in good condition with a faint cartouche behind the trigger guard. The rifle has sling swivels and a brass butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions well and the markings are legibleon this WWII era No.4 MK I. Est.: $250-$500. (C+R).
