**U.S. Springfield Model 1922 bolt action rifle, altered to “M2” variation, .22LR caliber, 24” round S.A. barrel dated “4-42”, S/N 14929, blued finish, wood stock, no magazine, leather sling and adjustable Lyman receiver mounted rear sight; top of receiver is marked “M2” as is the bolt and bolt handle. The same serial # is etched on the top of the bolt. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its military finish, fine bore, crisp action, good markings and very good to fine wood stock with a couple scattered minor old mars from storage.
