These Bolos are the same knife as a Model 1910, w/ the exception that the scabbard catch was not provided & the Model 1917 CT pommel is integral w/ the tang. 1): 10" blade Bolo. 14 7/8" overall. Left ricasso is marked "A.C.CO / CHICAGO / 1918". Right ricasso marked "U.S. / OD. / 1917 / C.T". Straight crossguard w/ lanyard hole. Pommel is integral w/ the tang as stated & carries rough turned walnut grips retained by 2 screws. Canvas scabbard marked faintly on the back w/ "J.M.M". Tan leather tip is marked "BRAUER BROS. 1918". Brass throat. Model 1910 belt hook. CONDITION: Bolo is very good overall condition. Blade shows a large degree of its original blue finish w/ moderate wear. Edge & false edge have been sharpened. Grips have light wear & staining along w/ notable small dents on left grip. Scabbard has light wear & staining. Stitching remains tight. Brass throat & liner are loose. 2): 10 1/8" blade Bolo. 14 3/4" overall. Left ricasso is marked "PLUMB / ST. LOUIS / 1918". Right ricasso is marked "S.MOD. / 1917 / C.T.". Straight steel crossguard w/ lanyard hole. Coarse turned walnut grips retained by 2 screws. Grips are somewhat proud & may be period replacements. Integral pommel. Green colored metal scabbard is marked "U.S. / L.F. & C." indicating mfg. by Landers, Frary & Clark. Dated 1918. Hinged leather frog. Model 1910 belt hook. CONDITION: blued steel blade has light wear & scratches. Grips have light wear & staining. Scabbard is in very good condition w/ a few tiny spots of missing finish. Stitching is tight. 3): Unissued Type 2 Scabbard. Green painted sheet metal scabbard w/ 1910 belt hook. Marked on back "U.S./L.F.&C.-1918". CONDITION: scabbard shows little wear retaining nearly all of its original finish. There remnants of the original paper wrapper. (02-23678/RW). NON-GUN. $300-500.
