Cal. 30 Carb. S# 4964594. Bbl. 18", marked "W" on the top approximately 2" behind the front sight, and a "WP" proof approximately 5 1/2" behind the front sight. Milled aperture rear sight marked "SA". Blade front sight with protective ears. Sight base is marked "NN". Bbl. band with bayonet lug "J.M.Q.". Straight-cut slide marked "PI". Round bolt, marked "SB". Milled trigger guard is marked "INLAND". Rotary safety. Mag. catch is marked "W.I.". Straight hammer is marked "WU". Walnut stock set; this modern replacement is marked, in ink, inside the forend "R" and "OCT 14". Stock is made in the oval-cut high wood style. The flat metal buttplate is attached by a Philips head screw. Four-Rivet handguard with a deep groove. Green web period sling. MAGS: 1 blued steel, 15 rd., marked "IA". CONDITION: stock set has light wear and staining. Notable repaired chip at the top of the grip around the recoil plate. Sling slot has a hand-inletted appearance. Metal has 75% of its original worn, parkerized finish. Very good, shiny bore. (24-2362/RW). CURIO. $900-1,200.
