UNUSUAL HIGH CONDITION WWII GERMAN G41 SEMI-AUTO

MILITARY RIFLE MANUFACTURED BY BERLIN-LUBECKER. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 9697d. Bbl. 22 1/2". Serial numbers match except for bolt, locking flaps & firing pin carrier which are all numbered 8204. These rifles were mfg. to attempt to supply the German military with a self loading rifle but were not generally well liked in the service and the rifle was superseded by the G43. Left side of receiver marked "G.41 duv", "43", S# & "eagle 214". Right side of receiver marked w/ German eagle proof. Bolt marked at top forward end w/ "eagle 214" & eagle proof. 10 Rd. non detachable mag. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1,200m. Sight base is machined for use with the ZF40 1.5x scope using the so called "straddle" mt. Blade front sight w/ protective hood. Cleaning rod & bayonet lug are present. Plain upper band. Lower band has welded construction. Laminated stock w/ Durofol handguard. Stock marked on right side of butt w/ faint German eagle acceptance marks; numerals are not legible. Stock has original sling & cup type buttplate. Buttplate marked "bpr". CONDITION: stock has light professional restorative cleaning. Stock has notable sm. dents on left side of butt & on right side of grip. Metal has thinning original finish w/ wear. Sheet metal parts are turning gray. Near excellent shiny bore.
