This lot contains 1 early WWII gas mask with a carrying pouch, marked "US U ARMY SERVICE GAS MASK". / 1 Korean War-era gas mask, with carrying pouch, marked "US" and "ARMY LIGHTWEIGHT SERVICE MASK T SMALL". / 1 gas mask canister and hose, with the canister marked "US M 1XA1" and "LOT 186 EAE". / 1 WWI-era entrenching shovel with a T handle. / 1 WWII-era entrenching shovel with folding pick and spade. / 1 WWI-era compass and russet leather case, with the compass marked on the reverse "CREAGH-OSBORNE MARCHING COMPASS MARKVII MOD.D1 SPERRY GYROSCOPE CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y. 49045". CONDITION: Gas masks show light use and are possibly unissued. Canister and hose show numerous shallow dents to the canister. Entrenching tools are solid but show oxidation to metal parts. Compass appears complete but could use a good cleaning. (02-23667/BF). $200-300.
