Magazine hosted the raffle, valuing the set at over $20,000.00. Nine different artisans are attributed as having a hand in creating this extraordinary set. Cimarron for supplying the .45 LC black powder frame Colt replica, Dave Sample for the action work, Raj of Eagle Grips for suppling the grips, Tracy Walthers of Get A Grip for the scrimshaw work on the grips, Rachael Wells for the engraving, Dave Mazy for polishing & fitting the grips, Jeff Collins of The Gold Line for the gold & silver plating, Walt Ostin of Custom Gun Leather for the holster & belt, and Lee Anderson of Heirlooms in Wood foe the custom display case. The revolver is configured as follows; silver plated finish with gold plated small parts, 4 ¾” barrel with two line address, blade front sight, square notched rear sight, bulls eye ring ejector, six shot cylinder, smooth thin trigger, knurled hammed spur and one-piece scrimshawed faux ivory grips with “JMB” on the left side and bronc buster scene on the right.
