We want hunters and outfitters to have a positive experience.

Expectations of hunters:

1) Bring another hunter and extend the hunt if feasible

2) Hunt from the outfitter's price list after harvesting donated trophies if additional game are
available and tip generously

Donations may not be sold, transferred, or combined on one trip with another hunt unless outfitters and chapter agree prior to auction.
Exhibitor Robert Tritten of R&R Outfitters has again made the trek from Australia to our banquet and is offering what must be considered the Ultimate Pacific Safari. This adventure of a lifetime includes seven days fully outfitted hunting in Australia for Water Buffalo (over 108 SCI green score), Banteng Bull, Scrub Bull, and Wild Boar as well as ten days hunting in New Zealand for Red Stag (up to 360 SCI), Tahr, and Chamois. This donation may be broken into two separate trips (one in Australia, and one in New Zealand) subject to outfitter’s availability.

Robert and his family have been in the outfitting business in Australia’s Northern Territories for 40 years. Guiding clients to over 1,400 Water Buffalo trophies and hundreds of Banteng trophies as well. No one has harvested or guided hunters to more of these unique trophies. Robert also guides clients yearly on terrific mountain-top adventures on New Zealand’s South Island. Beautiful destinations, first-rate trophies, and a world-class outfitter. The kind of trip most hunter’s wouldn’t dare dream of is available at our banquet tonight.

Australia hunting
This first leg of this adventure will take place on enormous concessions on the Murganella Plains of Northwest Arnhem Land, near the Arafura Sea. Hunters fly into Darwin, Australia and catch an air charter to camp. Hunting is conducted by traditional spot and stalk methods with newer 4X4 vehicles the main method of transport, and ATVs used in wetter conditions. The camp is also located on one of the world’s great sport fishing sites.

In Australia do not pass the opportunity to harvest additional buffalo along with beautiful species you won’t often see including: Sika Deer, Sambar Deer, Hog Deer (in season), Rusa Stag (Javan), and Bull Camel.

New Zealand hunting
The second leg of the trip will take place in the Canterbury Region of the South Island. The adventure begins about 2 hours south of Christchurch by car, near the town of Fairlie. The Red Stag property is a full 16,000 high-fence acres with no cross fences. This is a huge property with giant stags and four-star accommodations. The Tahr and Chamois hunting will take place in Fox Glacier, a 3.5-hour drive by car, with air transport for hunting provided by Mountain Helicopters. Accommodations in local motels and restaurants.

Round out the New Zealand hunt by adding Fallow Deer, Rocky Mountain Elk, Whitetail Deer, and Arapawa Ram.
