Manufactured in 1937. Features a 26" blued ventilated rib barrel with nickel bead front sight, chambered for 3" shells with Improved Cylinder choke. Standard Winchester barrel markings with "SKEET" behind the chamber stamping. Floral scroll engraving design cascades each side of the barrel sleeve lock. Left side of the receiver features a gold inlaid hawk going after a gold inlaid squirrel running to refuge in a tree. This woodland scene is surrounded in a circular border with floral scroll design in a spear shape on each side. Right side features a gold inlaid fox chasing a gold inlaid hare in a woodland scene, surrounded in a circular border with floral scroll design in a spear shape on each side. Signed "K.Hurst" below the fox. Nice feather crotch walnut pistol grip stock with checkering on grip and fitted with a Rosewood grip cap. Matching forearm with checkering. Fitted with a factory Winchester black checkered synthetic butt plate. LOP: 14". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2". CALIBER: 410. S/N: 28200. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 97%+ finish showing faint handling and action marks only. Stock and forearm are in great condition with sharp checkering showing light handling marks only. Nice bore and great mechanics.
