COMPANY STONER SR25 RIFLE. Cal. 7.62mm. S# 24183. Bbl. 24". The stoner SR-25 system is not an upgraded platform but a purpose built rifle designed by Eugene Stoner & C. Reed Knight Jr. for unparalleled accuracy. This particular variant is an early Vero Beach model & offers a 24" bbl. w/ a crowned muzzle. Low profile gas block forward of 12" composite free floating handguard. Harris SL extendable, folding bipod. Numbered, matching upper & lower receivers bear S# 24183. Upper receiver is free of a forward assist & brass deflector. Upper receiver rail provides 7.5" of real estate for optic mounting, currently sporting Leupold MARK 4 M1 10X scope w/ duplex reticle & sun shade. Left side safety / selector controls. 10.5" Shoulder stock w/ trapdoor. MAGS: 1 AR-10 aluminum waffle 20 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Original owner’s manual & related paperwork. CONDITION: original finish on exposed metal surfaces is complete & consistent w/ little sign of use, aside from some very light brass strikes visible under close inspection. Lettering on receivers is filled in a combination of white & red. Furniture & scope tube equally fine. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling.
