VERY RARE U.S. MARKED RUGER MARK II CONSECUTIVE
PAIR of MARK II SEMI-AUTO TARGET PISOLS. BOTH: Cals. 22 LR. 6 7/8" bull barrels with "warning marks" plus factory target sights; screw attached hooked blade on base at front and adjustable at rear of receiver. Mfg. 1986 within 2nd military contract of 964 units; 1st contract was for 17,439 units made from July of 1984 to August of 1985. RENE Ruger Reference guide states less than 20 believed to be in civilian hands; quite possibly the ONLY consecutive pair. Serial 210-19112 sold through Ruger befit auction in 2007 for $1,560 and 210-18516 in 2014 for $1,727. Total serial range (all in 210 series) was 210-00051 to 210-18668. Model designation is MK-678G (blued) with standard Mark II features of checkered black plastic grips (RH silver eagle medallion), last round slide lock, able to function bolt with safety engaged and silver serrated target trigger plus "U.S." over serial number. MAGS: 2 TOTAL; 1 factory 10 rd. with black plastic push button base having silver eagle medallion for each. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: for each: factory supplied yellow and black 1 piece box with military technical manual plus matching numbered green government hang tag with 4 separate stamped inspections (by 3 different people) dated in July of 1986; 2nd tag with 3 stamps (2 separate people).
