1). US Army Air Corp A-12 Bubble Sextant. Manufactured by Link Aviation Devices Inc. Lighted sextant has black textured finish. The sextant appears complete and serviceable and includes the original hand strap. There is a fitted green lockable case (key is present). The case which measures 12 1/2" X 8" X5 1/2" contains spare dials and bulbs. CONDITION: The sextant has light to moderate wear and staining. Case in good condition with light wear and staining. 2). U.S. Signal Corps Barometer. The instrument with its horizontal reading 8" dial is graduated in milibars and housed in a green painted wood case. There is no visible date but the appearance is of the WW2 era. The dial markings include "BAROMETER-331/TM" "Wallace & Tiernan. and "SIGNAL CORPS US ARMY". The case measures 11" X 11" X 5". CONDITION: The barometer appears to be functional and along with the outer case is in very good condition. 3). U.S. Navy Beck-Lee portable compass. This compass with its app. 8" dial retains its liquid filling which has a large bubble. The dial markings include U S NAVY, BUSHIPS and 1942. It is still serviceable. The mahogany case with wings measures 23 1/2" X 11 3/4" X 7" when extended not including the light bracket which has become detached. The compass is also marked underneath " PROPERTY OF CAPT. CAL BOWKER.. CONDITION: the compass has a worn black finish with small areas of oxidation. the glass has a slightly opaque condition. The case is well worn with staining, scuffing and scratches.
