Vintage 1912 DuPont calendar with advertiser portraying E.I. dupont de Nemours, the company founder. The advertiser and calendar are framed without glass and measure 30” by 20”. The calendar is dated 1912 and has aphoto of the original powder mill. The advertiser piece depicts the DuPont powder wagon carrying powder to Lake Erie for Commodore Perry and references the centennial of the use of DuPont explosives in anAmerican War. This is a truly interesting piece that would benefit from some conservation efforts. The piece has tattering at the edges, old tape mark at the top and the calendar has detached from theadvertising piece. Est.: $150-$300.
