Nevada Heritage Tag for California Bighorn Sheep species: Nevada’s California Bighorn Herds and numbers of trophy rams continue to grow with 2013 setting
a record for the most rams ever harvested in a single season at 61 rams. The 2013 also saw more
rams (3) harvested over 170 B&C than any other previous season. The average age of harvested
rams continues to be high at over 7 years of age. The successful 2014 Heritage Tag bidder will be
able to hunt the longest season ever from July 1, 2014 – February 28, 2015 in any of 11 open
California Bighorn units. Don't let this one get away! Ram quality continues to improve each
year. With the most generous season ever, your chance of taking the ram of a lifetime is no better
than now! This hunt will be subject to a 3% surcharge if paid by credit card.
