SERIAL NUMBER 1200 BARREL 2 1/2" CALIBER 41 RIM FIRE MANUFACTURED 1866-70. Produced by Moore's Patent firearms of Brooklyn N.Y. (Known for the No1 & No2 Deringers produced by Colt) for David Williamson who was the inventor of this sliding breech pistol.. Varnished checkered walnut stock along the Henry Deringer pattern with nickel finished sliding breech barrel chambered for 41 rim fire.. The pistol was furnished with an auxiliary chamber so could be fired using cap & ball as well. Barrel marked with "WILLIANSON'S PATENT OCT 2 1866 NEW YORK" on left side with a large arrow engraved on the top barrel flat. Brass trigger guard and nose cap with modest engraving. Pistol is complete with auxiliary cap & Ball chamber. CONDITION, Very fine with 40% nickel finish remaining on barrel. Stock is very fine with no cracks and most varnish remaining.
