Cal. 22 Short. S# 84572. Bbl. 26" octagon to round no. 1 weight. Globe front sight w/o insert & mid range vernier peep sight with shortened staff. Single set trigger. Blue finish w/ case colored lever. Ebony tipped schnabel forearm with straight grip walnut stock having a nickel finished brass Schuetzen buttplate. Mfg. 1898. CONDITION: 90% lightly worn bbl. blue. Action retains 60% blue w/ balance flaking to brown. Lever has visible case colors in protected areas. Schuetzen buttplate retains over 95% nickel showing light scratches. Original wood finish shows scattered dents, scratches & marks w/ an area of blistering finish on butt. Sound action & set trigger. Bore retains lightly worn rifling.
