ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 7.7 Jap. S# 50189. Bbl. 25 1/2". Blade front sight without protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 1500m without AA wings. Bolt parts are mismatched & bayonet lug is unnumbered. Receiver top has fully intact mum. Left side of receiver has 37th series marking, serial number, Kokura & Tokyo Juki Kogyo markings. Dull blue finish. Asian hardwood stock set with two piece butt, wooden buttplate, left side sling swivels & no hole for cleaning rod. Wrist has distinctive chatter on both sides & underside of butt has strong Kanji markings. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Type 30 bayonet made by National Denki under Kokura supervision with scabbard. Bayonet has straight crossguard with blued blade & is in good to very good condition. CONDITION: stock set shows a few chips, scattered dings & handling marks. Left side of buttplate shows a notable chip. Metal retains 70% original blue with scattered edge wear, light oxidation & fading. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
