WWI German P.08 Luger, #7816h, 9mm, 4'' barrel, blue finish with straw small parts, factory checkered walnut grip, with two (2) matching numbered tin-plated magazines with wooden bases. In brown leather 1915 dated holster by Otto Sindel (Berlin). Chamber marked 1915, toggle marked DWM, ''Gesichert'' marked safety, extractor marked ''Geladen''. Included is a reprint of the 1920s ''The Paraballum Automatic Pistol'' manual. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98%+ original rust blue with slight thinning to highpoint of sideplate. Straw parts show only the lightest thinning at high edges. Grips remain crisp; nitre blue grip screws show even wear with approx. 50% remaining to right side. Action is crisp, bore is mirror bright. Holster with light even crazing and some small flecks of finish losses to exterior. As nice a standard WWI P.08 Luger as you'll see. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R/PPT)
